I am a huge music nerd who got into bass guitar a few years ago and I haven't looked back since. If I dont practice for a few hours a day I feel as though I wasted an entire day and cheated myself. I've never been in a band due to my changing situation but I am definitely ready to go for it. I am also a lyricist with 80 or so songs completed lyrically and I have also come up with a dozen or so bass riffs.
