44 y/o, played years as a rhythm guitarist/vocalist. Age+cigs = diminished vocal capability. Been concentrating on lead licks and crossover rhythm/lead integration. Mostly an audio player as opposed to sheet music reader. I do read tablature. Have done a lot of solo acoustic w/harmonica as well as electric and acoustic with a band. Playing out has always been inhibited mostly by a band unwilling to commit. Dreams of getting signed died with change of commitments and age. Looking to play out in bars/private gigs, etc... Willing to put everything I can into it.

Influences
1960's/early 1970's classic rock, folk rock: Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Crosby/Stills&Nash, The Who, Rolling Stones, Big Brother & The Holding Company (Janis era), Mamas & Papas, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, dabbled in some 90's alternative (though not my strong suit). A mixture of many kinds of styles, including transcription of early 20th Century jazz to certain songs of the present, dependant on quality of music. I personally prefer music that makes you think instead of music that's mindless and money-oriented.
