I began playing drums at age 12 and played with local New Jersey musicians semi-professionally in the Christian Rock circuit.
I moved to the West Coast in 1979 and played with Vegas bands Scratch and Ground Zero as a drummer/writer/vocalist. I also did studio work for Polish pop singer Marek Troka in the capacity of drummer/bg vocalist and vocal coach to improve his English. The tracks I recorded with Marek were brought to the attention of BMI who gave high marks to my drumming. While in California I worked with the Prog band Citidel as a substitute drummer. In 1991 I studied with legendary Cream drummer Ginger Baker in his Advanced Drum Studies classes in Malibu, CA. I am currently living just outside of Nashville, TN where I write and record music in my home studio. Some of my music has been played on the Mark Deren Sunday Show in Holland and I have done periodic long-distance radio interviews with him. I am currently seeking to join a band or work with a collaborator.

Influences:

Ringo, Ginger Baker, Mitch Mitchell, Bill Bruford, Dannie Richmond, Louie Bellson, Coco Roussell, Alan White, Nick Mason to name but a few.

Equipment List:

I use a hybrid double bass kit consisting of 1/2 Premier Resonator drums and 1/2 Pearl Concert Select Series drums. I use 4 rack toms, 3 floor toms, snare, 2 bass drums and a small trio of Roto Toms. Cymbals are mainly Paiste with a couple of Zildjians and Gaohongtai Wuhans from China and 2 Chau gongs from that factory as well. I am also now beginning to use some Alesis electronic percussion for additional sounds.
