ABOUT

Greetings, everyone! It has come to my attention that far too many artists are creating a negative egregore by passively or actively glorifying life's darker shades, and a stylized version of the "screw it, we're doomed anyway" mentality. In my humble opinion, there is too much music letting the listener know that they are not alone in their pain and hopelessness, rather than turning their eyes to hope. Growing up, I hoped to find a band or an artist who retains "dark" themes in their imagery and sound, while instilling a sense of hope and talking about a Love that heals rather than one that causes pain. That's what I am here for, and you taking even the smallest interest in my music and mission means the world. I am working on new music constantly, after taking a break for a few years to improve my songwriting and arranging abilities. I moved to Russia in 2013, and lived there until just a month ago, after my wife and I fled the terrible things happening, as we want the freedom to express our thoughts freely on what is going on. While we lived there, my then band and I supported Eluveitie, Bullet For My Valentine, and Red in Moscow, and toured with Evanescence, The 69 Eyes, and HIM on their farewell tour. I am looking forward to start anew in a place which, on one hand, is home to me, and on the other, is a place where I am a new musician. If I find anyone here willing to walk this path with me, I look forward to meeting you.
