I am looking for an experienced band to join. I can sing lead and back up vocals. My top priority, however, is getting to play harmonica. My style ranges from traditional blues harp to full out rock and roll. I can also cover horn and organ parts.

I've been consistently gigging in successful bands for the last five years (nearly 300 shows) as a frontman and sideman. I've played bar rock, blues, funk, rock, jazz, and country. I have pro equiptment, sound samples, videos, and references. I am looking to gig 4-8 times a month.

Location: Southern, MN

"Mike Fugazzi has studied diatonic harmonica from two of the world's top harmonica players, Chris Michalek and Clint Hoover, over the last five years. Career highlights include opening for Indigenous, playing with Michalek-Strone at the 2005 Mid Summer Jazz Festival, and sharing the stage with harmonica giant Jason Ricci in 2005 and 2006. Fugazzi has developed the unique ability to play chromatically by using the "overblow" technique. His approach to the diatonic harmonica, although much more difficult to achieve, is in many ways more expressive and communicative than traditional harmonica playing. The sophisticated sound produced by Fugazzi is lyrical, soulful, and aggressive, while constantly paying tribute to the greats of the instrument. His range of skills allow him to cover parts usually played by the guitar, horns, or organ. Besides excelling on the harmonica, Fugazzi is a proven band leader and sideman. For three years he fronted the group NiteRail who played nearly two hundred shows throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. Highlights from his time with the group can be found at www.niterail.com. He also played harmonica and sang back-up for Christine Catherine."
