I played about 50 or 60 Acoustic duo Gigs with another dude back on long Island just over 7 years ago. I now live in Danbury area and hang/work in Westchester/Putnam NY. I am looking to get back to gigging as I love the social rush/social aspect. It certainly isn’t about the money. I am a jokester, love to laugh and have fun, and am 100% sober (you don’t have to be :P) as I would never let drugs/booze wreck a good performance. (my last duo ended as a result of Jack Daniels taking over for my partner) .
I have 0 Ego and am not pretentious at all. I have the ambition to get us the gigs, biz cards, etc once we start practicing. I am convinced we could be gigging by late spring early summer! I have a successful day job that ends at 5pm and rarely interferes with my night life.

I play mostly acoustic rhythm while singing lead vocals, with some basic leads peppered in depending on the song. I have a strat that I occasionally play too. I got all the gear to gig as well, so that’s covered too. My last gig was at farmers market last year and now that I got that taste I am eager to get back in to that fold!

Last few months, I've been playing open mics and practicing behind closed doors and am confident I'm ready to begin gigging with another guitarist. Hence, why I am on this site looking for another guitarist who play rhythm and/or leads and can also sing lead/harmonies. Harmonies are very important to me. If you can’t sing above average, then we're probably not going to end up gigging together :(

I can also play acoustic Bass for a few songs if the song calls for it, but that is NOT my main instrument. A 3rd Cajon player would be welcome once a 2nd guitarist was established, and we were getting ready to gig. I also own a big bassy Meinl Cajon for use if that were agreed upon. This would be a total shared enterprise. I am not the shot caller. We would be a team 50/50 all the way!

I have song binders. I also have 80% of my music collection in chord/tab format in a OneDrive library of that I’d be glad to share - contains 260+ songs.
I am often asked at open mic's why I am not gigging lol. My lead vocal pitch is excellent, my harmonies are also excellent, and my guitar playing is above average. I gigged successfully last fall in Mahopac, and all went well, but really could've used the additional vocals/guitar. I am ready to gig 2x-6x per month. We can chat via phone first to see if we click and then chat about a jam/practice to see if we're a musical match.
