I've never been in a band before but I've been singing Karaoke at bars for years and I do it sober. Just my hot lemon water with honey to keep my voice goin strong.
I sing everything from Megadeth to Guns and Roses to Pink Floyd, Tom Petty and Radio Head.
I always wanted to play with a live band but never had the opportunity to. I've always entertained the idea of being in a cover band.
I've never written my own songs but I'm not opposed to trying. The reason I enjoy Karaoke so much is I challenge myself to sound as close to the original singer as possible so that people will get that feeling they are listening to the actual singer and enjoy the experience more.
