My Band - Mike Kara Band is looking for a keyboard player ASAP. This band would perform Feel Good Oldies/Classic Rock Music. Very high energy and very fun music. This band plans on being very interactive, often coming into the crowd and getting the audience really involved with the music. The purpose of the band is to have fun.

Currently We are a start-up band and have four members. It seems that We do need to add another member, a keyboard player to increase Our range of songs.

The band expect Me, are all seasoned professionals, with many years of experience. I Myself, am very new to the business, as this is My very first band. I have interviewed countless numbers of bands, for My Internet Radio Show - Mike Kara Radio Show "Eye on The Community". Trying to bring awareness to the local Chicago Music scene. With My TV Show, I have interviewed the likes of Tommy James, The Buckinghams, The Cryan Shames, Ronnie Rice, The Five Americans, etc.

I basically have a love and passion for music and that's about it. But I am looking for quality musicians to add their input and suggestions. Despite The name of The Band - Mike Kara Band, I want this to be a full partnership between all of it's members. The name of the band may be changed down the line, but I want input from everyone. I want this band to be all of us, not just one person.

If anyone is interested I would like to invite any keyboard players interested in playing with the band, to join us for an open house practice this Wednesday May 7 from 7 to 9pm.
