I'm a 22-year-old living in Coshocton, but will soon be in Columbus (the Polaris area, to be precise). I'm a lyricist and have been writing for about 7 years. I've been wanting to be a vocalist for about as long as I've been writing, but I have confidence issues. I sing to myself, so I have some "experience," I guess. But I never know if I sound good. A friend of mine, who is a great singer, is going to help me with my confidence and teach me how to sing professionally. I've wanted to be in a band for as long as I can remember and it's the only thing I can see myself doing for a living. You won't find anyone as serious and dedicated about being in a band more than me.

Influences
Recently, I've been influenced a lot by PVRIS. Their songs sonically and lyrically resonate with me on a personal level. Every track from the White Noise album is perfect. Trenton Woodley, of Hands like Houses, has inspired me to try to find a particular set of words when writing, and try to paint a picture for the potential listeners of my writings. ISSUES' Tyler Carter has a voice one can only wish to have. When singing, I don't necessarily try to 'copy' his voice, but rather learn the techniques he's using. And not just Tyler, but Patrick Stump, Brendon Urie, Hayley Williams, Tyler Joseph, Lynn Gunn, Jonny Craig, Ed Sheeran, and Matthew Healy are a bunch of my other inspirations.
