Spent years playing around the triad area. No Neil Peart here, Not a "soloing" type of drummer but can throw something out there that's presentable if need be. More of what I would call a "Bands" drummer. Not flashy but I know when to accentuate and when to lay back. The quality of the music comes first. Make the basics right and worry about the other stuff later. Grew up in the 80's so I listened to a lot of 80's rock and country along with the 70's stuff as well. My taste in music is varied but mainly along the lines of Rock, Country, Blues I'm open to most anything.I have a small but good place to practice that works out good. Not looking to go on the road or anything like that but play a couple times a month. I'm a family guy so have those responsiblities as well. I sing and play drums. A little on other instruments as well. But I'm interested in other situations as well. Get in touch. 336-997-5705 smwalker7189@ Run something by me. We can try it and if it works then OK, if not then it's not the end of the world either. I'm easy to get along with. Check out myspace.com/macwalker as well
Hard core country, that was my first experience in music. Just straight up rock and blues. Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bad Company, Eagles, Journey, Van Halen, Skynyrd, a lot of stuff along those lines. On the country side, Haggard and Jones, Keith Whitley etc. Most any of the 70's and 80's rock. Just good music in general.
DW drums and Zildjian cymbals. Small, seable vocal PA. Good enough for 3-4 to play a small gig with.
