Sang in choir all through school. Discouraged during college to pursue a music career. Competed in solo events and won 2nd Place in 2000 at a Solo Competition between local high-schools singing a cover of" I will always love you" by Whitney Houston. I was invited once to join a salsa band during my college years and I had to turn it down.
I did perform once a month for about a year at an assisted living facility in Anaheim California. For this gig, I san oldies mostly such as songs from Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, and Patsy Cline.
I'm Puerto Rican, born in NY and moved to California after I turned 16. I love urban music but am more interested performing Latin music, carribean if possible.
