My name is Nina Fletcher. I am a professional vocalist. I have recorded and performed with Philadelphia's The Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble as their lead vocalist for 5 years performing professionally in various clubs and jazz festivals. Now a soloist with a self entitled CD entitled "Nina Fletcher, Courage", I am seeking to assemble my own band to promote my self entitled CD available on CDBaby. I am also a pianist, as well as the songwriter,composer,and producer for the "Nina Fletcher, Courage" project.

I love ALL Music and prefer a diverse band. I love Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Charles Mingus, Pharaoh Sanders Stevie Wonder, SADE, Bobby Hutchinson. I prefer straight ahead and aggressive jazz using african, afro-cuban, and latin influences. I also love Phyllis Hyman, Steven Tyler, Sarah Vaughn, Mint Condition,Earth Wind and Fire, Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Gil Scott Herron, Mandrill, and Teena Marie.
