I grew up in the eighties at the height of metal popularity loved a lot of that and then in the ninties I discovered punk and indy music and was just blown away at the originality of the music and musicians.
I really like loud, fast, raw, agressive music. I really hate over produces albums. I would describe my style as kind of all over the the place and unique. I feel I've never really had a chance to reach my full potential with a band, Out of any people i've ever played with I've always been the most driven and creative. the best part of being a musicain to me is getting those sounds out of my head and on paper. Ive got a lot of good ideas but I have no desire to dominate the writing in a band setting and can only hope to get with some people that are just as motivated and driven as I am. Another problem that I have come across is people not being able to keep up with me. which is really frustrating so I always have to compromise, but this time around I made a promise to myself that I'm not going to do that.
