46 year old, engineer, used to play in bands a long time ago (mostly playing sax), would like to get back to it, not very comfortable with informal jams yet, would prefer to start with something more structured (covers) which I'd have some time to rehearse to really try to nail it. Would like to start with rhythm guitars but I can play some solos too... I can play some Travis picking on the acoustic... I live and work in the EC/Columbia area and would rather stick to that area if possible (as opposed to driving into Baltimore for practice sessions for example).
