Lead guitarist, vocalist, keyboardist, percussionist, songwriter. I have been playing instruments since the age of 12 and writing songs since age 17. Played in several bands between the 1970s and the 1990s. Education: Music theory and composition; piano; acoustic, electric and classical guitar Achievements: Instructor of acoustic and electric guitar. With Polyphony, released album entitled Without Introduction on Eleventh Hour Records 1972. Co-wrote, played lead guitar, contributed lead and background vocals on album. Founded Palmer and the Push, rated one of the top three bands in Atlanta, Georgia (1981-83) Cover version of Peter Gunn was recognized by the Henry Mancini Association and aired on Atlanta’s 94Q Jazz Flavors radio program. Co-wrote (with Craig Massey and William Anderson) and co-produced (with Tom Wright) Don’t Bother Me, the most-requested song on Atlanta’s 96 Rock Radio’s Home Cookin’ I album in 1980-81. The song was also 26 on Atlanta’s Top 96 Songs of 1981. Original composition, Eighteen in 80 received an award at the 7th Annual American Song Festival in 1980. Wrote and produced You’ll Know It’s True, (performed by The Push), the most requested song on 96 Rock’s Home Cookin’ III album in 1983. This song received the Quarter Finalist Award at the 10th Annual American Song Festival as well as an award at the New York Pro Am Jubilee.
