Patrick Campbell is a jazz trumpeter from Hinesville, Georgia. He is currently studying at Florida State University under the direction of Scotty Barnhart, Leon Anderson, Marcus Roberts, Bill Peterson, Rodney Jordan, Kevin Jones, and David Detweiler. He also studied under the directors Don Zentz, and Ace Martin at the renowned Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in Jacksonville, Florida. Patrick has played lead/solo chair in multiple big bands including The Scotty Barnhart Orchestra and the Christian McBride Big Band at the JAS Academy in Qspen Colorado. He also played with multiple professors and well known players in Jacksonville such as John Lumpkin, JB Scott, Doc Handy, and Scott Giddens. Recently, Patrick played lead at the Jacksonville Jazz Fest with a local big band. He currently plays lead with the top jazz ensemble under the direction of Leon Anderson.
