ABOUT

well... greetings!
If you/your band is looking for a bass dude who can do it all and is particularly suited to Blues/Country/Alternative/Reggae/Southern Rock/R&B then I just might be your boy...
recorded 3 albums in California after moving there in 1983 and re-entering the business in '95 when I was persuaded to get back to playing via an invite to jam with some well-known characters in Mill Valley CA. Had a career as a C-level manager coming up through Operations, Sales and Marketing. Have pretty good instincts for the game. We built 9000 miles of the internet backbone on the west coast.
Miami School of Music class of 76 with Jaco, Pat Metheny, Steve Morse, Dean Markley, Jerry Mulligan, Bruce Hornsby….
Jazz Performance/Comp Major.
Concert Promoter. Manager. A&R head dude with Artists Entertainment Inc.
Have worked and/or played with The NY Philharmonic, Chick Correa, Bette Middler, Earl Slick, Little River Band, Weather Report, Firefall, James Cotton Blues Band, Eleuthera, The Dead, The Eagles, Peter Frampton, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, Kenny Loggins, Bonnie Rait, and many more. Been with The Band of the Year here and there. Guest Soloist 6x’s with the Downtown Glee Club at Carnegie Hall
NYC (born). Miami. Toronto. Boulder. Rockies. Portland. San Francisco.
We just moved to Virginia Beach from the Monterey Peninsula in California and hoping to be lend a hand on bass and with this, that and so forth.
am open to cover/tribute bands though it's been a number of years since i was in one... have been partial to songwriters looking to make a name.. Will always play a few classics every night….Government Mule and other so called jam bands tend to pick some of the best covers... have always loved to play Taxman on 4/15... right? mybandismyfraternity.

EQUIPMENT

Had a deal with Epifani before the lock down. Also use Eden and Ampeg rigs on the road… Play Fender P, J and P/J basses (all custom). Play fretless when appropriate. Reviews of my playing are over the top and frankly a bit embarrassing as I see myself as just one of the guys… collaborative approach to everything. Nothing but open to good ideas etc….
