ABOUT

Hi. Thanks for checking out my profile. Basically, I'm a singer in search of a band. My vocal range is all over the place and I'm able to hit lots of high notes such as those in Journey's songs "Separate Ways" and "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'" and Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love". I try to impersonate the original lead vocalist as much as possible sort of like the famous impressionist Rich Little. People generally say my speaking voice sounds totally different from the voice I'll use to sing with. My main issue has been with finding musicians that have the time to devote to keeping a band together and performing gigs. Despite being 48, I look unusually young for my age, and my appearance hasn't changed much in the last 25 years for better or worse lol :)

EQUIPMENT

I used to like to use the "Thompson Vocal Eliminator" (VE 4 model) to practice with, but mine blew up and since it'll cost over $2,500 to replace, it will probably be a while before I can save up to buy another one :( Recently, I've been working with computer software that eliminates the original vocals in songs and have made videos of myself using this software for 12 songs from the '70s through the '90s. If you are in a band that is searching for a singer or frontman, if you send me your personal e-mail address and request them, I will be happy to send the videos to you so you can hear what my voice sounds like. I don't post the videos on this site for various reasons. If there are certain songs your band performs, and you would like me to make videos of what I sound like performing those songs using the computer software eliminating the original vocals, I could do that as well so you can hear what I sound like before going through the trouble of auditioning me because who knows, you may see the videos and decide the way my voice sounds isn't really what you're looking for and you might then choose to pursue other candidates.
