I’ve been told I’m a “professional” by some. My natural style is most like Billy Joel. But I can play pretty much any style. I prefer playing piano to synth or organ, but will do those too, if it’s part of the gig. Give me the chords and I can fake something that sounds decent and I can read sheet music. I also play basic rhythm and acoustic guitar with tabs and some practice, but defiantly don’t shred. Can sing a bit. Not looking for a record deal, but I want to play out with people who are committed without any drama. I was once an excellent jazz trumpet player.
Have a “studio” in the lower level of my house available for a jam in Morgan Utah. Complete with PA, basic Yamaha drum kit with zildjians, fender guitar and bass amp.

Influences
Billy Joel. Elton John. Journey, Bruce Hornsby and Styx types of keyboard stuff. Huge fan of Cory Wong and his band.
Gimme some funk with Wolfpeck, Here Come the Mummies, Tower of Power and Earth Wind and Fire.
Enjoy Jam bands like Dave Mathews and Rusted Root.
I’m also a huge fan of jazz fusion like David Sanborn, The Rippingtons, Maynard Ferguson, Syro Gyra etc.
I like anything funky, with a groove, that you can musically make your own.
Also like Marooon 5 and Foo Fighters for more current stuff. I enjoy playing pretty much anything. I learned classical, played jazz trumpet in high along with keyboards in rock bands. I’ll do country too, even though I don’t much listen to it.
