ABOUT

I'm basically just looking for musically inclined people with similar interests nearby to jam and/or hang out with. Ultimately I'd like to get some kind of original metal band/project together. I'm not really looking to join any bands or play covers. I've been playing for over 20 years and I'm primarily a metal lead guitarist if I had to pigeonhole myself but I'm also into jazz fusion, classical, progressive rock, gothic music etc. I'm not into any drugs or drinking and I tend to be pretty mellow, easy going and maintain a pretty positive attitude in general.

Some of favorite bands include: King Diamond/Mercyful Fate, Judas Priest, Ozzy/Black Sabbath, Dio, The Obsessed, Death, Fates Warning, Yngwie Malmsteen, old Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Testament, Slayer, Type O Negative, Sisters of Mercy, Killing Joke, David Bowie, Frank Zappa, Rush, Bad Brains, Blind Idiot God, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Allman Brothers, old Santana, Brand X, misc obscure 70s experimental fusion stuff,etc,etc. Pretty much anything I consider innovative and musically/artistically proficient.
