Our band, Fast Ed & the Sticks has been together for many years. Myself and my guitar playing and singing band partner have played together for over 50 years. Original band members have also retired from the band. We have a very steady drummer we picked up a couple of years ago and he plays out frequently with his other band. All current band members are retired from their jobs and we practice every other week mid-day Wednesday. Currently looking for a bass player.

Influences
Beatles to Broadway to Classic Rock (hard & soft) and any number of other eclectic tunes and some originals. We are not so much interested in replication of songs to duplicate the original but rather we like to interpret and express songs in our own way. Many songs are in alternate keys and we sometimes adjust arrangements to suit what we think works. We play way more for us than whatever the audience.

EQUIPMENT
Home practice studio has Behringer and Alto Pro PA and 8 channel Zoom recorder. We have Roland electric drums for practice and they are available for gigs. Guitar players have a variety of instruments from Gibson to Fender to many others. A lot of 12 string guitars for one of our players, aw well.
