ABOUT

I've played music all my life. I grew up in my grandparents' house and they have a piano and organ in their living room. I've played trumpet for eleven years and I've played bass for two and a half. I currently play both for the University of Virginia Cavalier Marching Band/HOOps Band (basketball games).

Despite not playing as long, I'm just as good of a bass player as I am a trumpet player and did not like most start out on guitar I just wanted to learn bass. I love playing them both music is everything I do. I will sit down for a couple hours straight sometimes and just play through stuff I know on my iPod, practice music I've got to perform and generally just play around.

Influences

Flea is one of my greatest musical heroes. Sure he's not very high in the list of best bassists or trumpeters but he's one of the best and most talented musicians out there.

I listen to a LOT of stuff and between trumpet and bass I've played virtually every existing genre.
