My profile picture is the cover on my demo CD, "Songs from Sandia". I'm a classically trained musician, but enjoy listening to and performing all types of music. I took 11 years of piano lessons, and 4 years of voice. I also play by ear very well. I've written about 10 original songs, and was a member of a Contemporary Christian band for about a year. I've also sung in Classical choirs, and Praise Bands at every church I've attended. Most recently, I was a member of the NMSO Chorus, but gave that up to pursue more upbeat genres of music, and hopefully start having more fun with it, too. I'm most interested in forming a band to play Alternative Christian, Classic Rock, Blues, Jazz, or whatever. I'm pretty flexible, and love just about all types of music. I just want to find some other musicians to have fun playing music with and possibly play some gigs, as well. My voice sounds a lot like Charlotte Church - a lyrical type of voice, but I can also emulate the sounds of Pat Benatar, Heart, and other rock and pop female performers. I'm very versatile. (Rush is my all time favorite band!)

Equipment List:

TONS of equipment!! Have about 3 amps, several guitars and basses, 2 keyboards, and an upright piano. (Guitars and basses are played by my husband, but I do play some, too.) Also have 2 sets of drums available for use.
