Im Jason Bahre im 16, and I want to start a band with people who are VERY commited to playing in a band and practicing.I am never intimidated by any solo, or song. I will attempt to learn it and i usually can. I've been playing for around 6 years now.I LOVE Zakk Wyldes speed, combined With Eddies style, Rhandys cutting licks and SLASHES hard bluesy sound.I've been kicked out of 2 bands for 1.Being to serious about playing guitar and 2.For playing TOO LOUD and wanting to actually practice.I entered a battle of the bands and won 3rd place(and $50 bucks!) out of seven bands just by playing my guitar! Im looking for bandmates who want to make some awsome hard rockin songs and stuff. If we get some songs together we would go and get gigs and rock the house down! I HATE SCREAMO CRAP!! But I DO LIKE the type of singing from bands like AC/DC and Ozzy and stuff where you can actually understand what they're saying. I want a band that likes fast solos like Zakk Wyldes or Slashes.(But sometimes slower solos too!) Also I dont want any members of the band to be over-controlling (like the bass player in my last band). Im not into country or rap at all, just Hard Rock and also stuff like Red hot chili Peppers. I currently own a brand new $800($1300 retail)Zakk Wylde Custom Les Paul which rocks! I have an Alvareaz $500 or something like that acoustic guitar. 1 Applause Strat style guitar(with WHAMMY!!) A Washburn Naked camoflauge girl guitar($250, but really a good guitar) Lets see...1 traveler acoustic guitar. I have 1 Semi-hollow body Jazzy/Bluesy style guitar(my "Black Beauty") I have one guitar that i made which is really just for show because it SUCKS.It's a lookalike of the traveler but...well..it just sucks. I have a $600 Boss 8-Track Digital recording studio. Also a Boss Drum Machine(probably around $200.I got it for christmas so i dont really know) I bought a Crybaby Wah($100) I gots a effects board, which is good sometimes, but not really for performances. OH my AMP duh. Its a marshall of course, 50 Watts of IN YOUR FACE POWER. I use Monster Cables(2 of em. $40 EACH) Umm..I got a 300 watt stereo which is nice, and i have a whole bunch of good albums. My room is completley rocked out. I've got PILES of guitar magazines on my shelf.
