What can i say about myself...

HMmmmmm....

Well... I'm just me...

a simple girl....

much like the girl next doors....:)

Writing songs have always been an

important part of my life...

I love music!...

I love to sing...Lol... i know...i

know..... :)

Ur probably thinking "Ur not a great singer!"...:)

And u know what?...

Ur probably right!....

I'm not a great singer!...i'm more of a bad background singer...lol...

But i feel that my music and my singing goes hand in hand... in other words...

they both seem to compliment each other... :}
i guess u can say that they sort of give each other a pat on the back..... so to speak....:)

And ... i love to write!...

i've been writing since i was able to put words together on paper!..:)

And i'm a damn good song writer!

I feel that music completes the human being....
and touches a part of their soul that they never knew exist before...

Music moves my emotions to a place that i've never dreamed possible...
it completes me...

i could never imagine a world without music....

To me...
when it's a happy song...
it feels much like being a child again...
running thru a field of flowers on a beautiful summer morning....
with the wind rushing all around me in a wonderful breeze....

gently caressing me....
hugging me.....
and... holding me....
while the sun gently kiss my cheeks......

Sometimes...
I'll prance around and dance to music that inspires me.......
and let it just fill me up...
and run right thru me!

Sometimes...
if others happen to see me.... they'll ask me what i'm high on....lol...
i just turn to them and tell them that i'm high on life!.... :)

MUSIC!!.....LOL... I Love It So MUCH!!!!!.....

It stirs my emotional strings...
of love...
and laughter.....

and makes me happy enough to forget all about the bad times...

And when it's sad...

I feel each chord ...
tearing at my flesh....

it can be an overwhelming thing
at times....

But to me....
that's what me writing music is
all about....

I believe that any music that a
songwriter writes... should be
about raw emotions....

it should be about their
experiences in life....

And...

it should be meaningful....
about something or someone that they really care about....

and have learned a valuable lesson from the pain ....

suffering....

or love that they kept...

or walked away from.....

The music should be about the essence of their VERY SOUL!!!.....

about... everything that they are made of.....

about all that they know....

about all that they could ... and would ever want to be!.....

But....this is just how i feel u know....

really... I mean....
what do i know!.....

Influences:

U know.....There are so many bands that influenced me...So i'll just say the 50's thru the early 90's.... and some of the present...But i would like to say that The Beatles were my first love...it was the first musical sound that i can remember that i had ever heard when i was 4 years old...
I've been writing since i was 6... but ... mostly poems...

my first song that i wrote was called Forever More.... I wrote the song because i loved my little sister Jill so much that i wanted to express my love for her by writing this song about my love for her... i even made her sing in the background!...lol... i wish i still had that tape!....

Lol... WOW!... lol... That tape recorder!!!....funny how an event can changed ur entire life...and i recorded it on the tape recorder that i asked my parents to give me for Christmas... not so i could record music... but sut i could practice being a reporter!!!...:}

I wanted to be a reported...and it was the only thing that i had asked for... and the only thing that i had recieved for Christmas... but .. that was REALLY BIG DEAL back then...for me!!!

Can u believe that me asking for that tape recorder changed my whole life!... I went from wanting to be a reporter...to help people.... reporting events....touching someone's lives in the most positive way....to wanting to touch people's lives thru my music.... with my words and feelings.... in the most positive way!.. I'm sooo glad that it worked out this way!!!!!...Aren't u?...:}
