However, despite dealing with arthritic issues in my hands and wrists which has caused difficulties in playing at the level I was once able, I would still be open to playing with person(s) who are looking to play more for enjoyment and not necessarily fixated on gigging and making money. Hello, My name is Chris and I've been a guitar player for many years. I also have some keyboard/synth ability. I have played in a few bands a good many years ago. Occasionally I will jam out with some friends or strangers. I spend most my time musically speaking in my personal studio recording. I have gone through various stages of commitment to music throughout the years. I'm well past the stage of dreaming of "ROCK stardom". Now I'm basically at the point where I would like to play in the right band situation and would be committed to the degree everyone else is committed. I also have an Electronics Degree and have a reasonable amount of technical knowledge.

Influences

I have been influenced by many different types of music. I have gone through various stages of personal guitar player influences. Such as in the early years, Rush (Alex Lifeson) Yes (Steve Howe) David Gilmour, John McLaughlin, Robert Fripp, Alan Holdsworth, Steve Morse, Eric Johnson, Jeff Beck, Hendrix, Jerry Garcia...all the usual suspects.

At some point I just realized that I like anything where the musicians take their craft seriously. That’s where JG and the Dead come in. I especially love anything that has players that try to be best they can at their particular instrument including voice.
