I formed a band called The Salvo with several other friends. Currently we have four members including myself. Our skill sets include:
-Saxophone/Clarinet
-Piano/Trumpet/Drum/Ukulele
-Trombone
-Violin
We plan to recruit one drummer, two saxophonists, one trombonist and one trumpeter so far.
Please bring your own instruments. We strongly prefer equipments that does not require a power plug-in.
- For drummers, having half a drumset (snare, high hat, bass drum, crash cymbal) will suffice. A full set is even better.
- For those who intend to play Tenor and Baritone Saxophones, you only have to bring mouthpieces and reeds if you don’t have a complete one. We provide the neckpieces and the body parts.
Our primary goals will be practicing and go busking in subway stations in NYC (public area performance for donation). We’re flexible on music genres.
