Yikes! Who am I ? from St Louis - where I sang as a preteen all over town & on the Riverboat Admiral. Now closer to KCMO - with 50 years living, working & performing between WashDC & THE WORLD. 25 years abroad. Performed in Diplomatic clubs, parties, wedding receptions, fund-raising events, USG official events (National Anthem). Sang in various languages - with recorded background music, live bands or acappello. I have a fun sense of humor, can do comical numbers & I am fearless! My voice has a very pleasant tone, so I am told. Not easily ruffled by last-minute changes or ANYTHING, really. Not a Diva though I can look like one, if needed. I come from a musical family with brothers who play guitar, dad mandolin. And a former Playboy Bunny mother who played piano & sang! Quite a mixture of experience!
I have vehicles to pull trailers, can travel.

Influences
Can sing most ANY genre with a melody! I was influenced by rock, pop, country mostly, (though living in Communist countries left me with a GAP of exposure to popular music during the 80s.) I won a Patsy Cline singing contest in DC. Love the Judds, Bonnie Raitt, Emmy Lou Harris, Beatles, Reba McIntyre, Juice Newton, Tanya Tucker, Martina McBride, Shania Twain, Loretta Lynn, Garth Brooks, Sade, Al Jarreau, to name a few. Most anything from the 60s up till today - although I DO NOT do the mostly minor keyed whining that I hear today! If it has a tune, I can sing it! I sing Alto & some 2nd Soprano. I sing lead and harmonies.
I play flute and alto flute, though it is hard to do so AND sing! :)
