ABOUT

Let's make some music, perhaps record some of it, maybe eventually gig if we get good enough. Not expecting to make any money doing it, however I am very serious about wanting to create art.

I play guitar and do live-looping. I've been hovering around the Phoenix art scene for over a decade, playing gigs intermittently at coffee houses, art openings, and the occasional bar or poetry reading. I've even played background music for a few plays.

Genre is Post-rock (with influences from Krautrock, Progressive, Metal, Surf, Classical, Experimental music, Ambient, and basically any instrumental music).

I'm tired of playing alone.

Looking for someone that plays any instrument, and also has a space we can practice at (South Scottsdale/ East Valley preferred)

You can message me here or on social media, search for Guitar and Graves.

CALENDAR

Past Events

I'll be returning to an old haunt of mine, the old Willow House building, now Luanna's Coffee and Beer for Open Mic night.

The Willow House was the first place to give me stage when I moved to Phoenix in 2001. I think the last time I played there was in 2007 or so...

I'll be premiering a couple of new pieces. Feel free to come check it out and if you're interested in doing some music together let me know.

Open mic runs from 6 to 9pm, I'll shoot for going up around 7 for a 15 minute set.
