ABOUT

I'm an old school (70 plus)) guitar player/vocalist who has been playing, on and off, for over fifty years now. I have a young attitude when it comes to playing music, whether it's blues, old rock & roll, or fingerstyle acoustic guitar, which I've mainly been playing lately. That's because during the pandemic it's been pretty hard to find people to even jam with, with a lot of the venues either closed or cut back on live music. My preference would be to find a fellow acoustic guitarist who does lead vocals, as I mainly sing backup these days, when I do sing. Would like to work as a duo ,doing fingerstyle instrumentals and some older roots acoustic music like stuff you might hear from John Fahey, Doc Watson, or Leo Kottke, but done a little different. If you have originals, we can play those also, as I have a few myself. I play blues too, and am always open to hooking up with a good blues band as a guitarist, but not a lead vocalist.Same with classic rock.I don't have any particular goals at this point, but am open to gigging and/or studio work. Just want to play, not looking to make a ton of $$, that won't happen anyway at my age, and I never really cared about that anyway. So, if we're on the same page more or less, I'd like to hear from you.
