The Midnight Players have been a staple in the Sacramento music scene since 1977. Originally formed as an "oldies" cover band, the Midnight Players offered mesmerizing renditions of oldies from the 50s and 60s.

Today, the Midnight Players are still dazzling audiences in the Sacramento area with a "newer" old school style, offering "PlayaStyle" versions of all of your soul, funk, and R&B favorites from the 70s and 80s.

The Midnight Players have opened for such acts as Brenton Wood, El Chicano, Tierra, and have been privileged enough to have jammed with members of WAR at a post-concert party at Sacramento's own Stoney Inn.
