About me, I'm 46 and I have been playing guitar since I was 14. I've played in several bands in St. Louis , probably ones you've never heard of, but I do have LOTS of experience playing shows.
I'm not against playing shows on a regular basis, practicing a lot or playing one-off shows out of town. It would be hard for me (not impossible) to do any extensive touring due to my full time day job. I'd like to be as serious as possible while not making it a drag. Playing music should be about fun first.
I like to play and/or listen to stuff like Minus the Bear, Sunny Day Real Estate, Modest Mouse, Drive Like Jehu, Juno, Cursive, Shiner, the Life and Times, The Hold Steady, Superchunk, The Dismemberment Plan, Wilco, Spoon, etc. However I'm open to mostly anything outside of metal, butt-rock or new country.
