The Outsiders - Startup band looking for a bassist and primary vocalist or someone who can do both to complete our line up. As of now we have three pieces...my nephew on Rhythm Guitar (25 yrs old,) myself on Lead Guitar / Vocals (51 yrs old,) and my son on Drums (12 yrs old. He kicks ass so don't let his age throw you.)
We practice once a week in Bergen County, NJ and ideally would like to find additional members from Bergen/Essex Counties in NJ or in Rockland County NY.
We play Foo Fighters, The Who, Dave Edmunds, Beatles, Jayhawks, CCR and are adding songs from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Green Day, and many more. We are definitely taking the eclectic route.
This is a serious band and our goal is play good Rock and Roll from all eras (nothing sappy and/or cutesy) and play good gigs... no dives and/or freebies.
