SEEKING
Band to Join, Other.ABOUT
I am a drummer by default. I've been playing drums since I was 17.
I've studied percussion with Steve Snodgrass and Peter magadini. I am mostly self-taught, in my earlier years that is, until things like youtube came about. I am NOT Neal Peart. For the most part, I have a Jim Keltner approach to drumming.
Over the years I've played in various bands: The Jvoid, Planet of the Planets, It's a Wise Child (https://darkwalter.bandcamp.com/album/always-the-last-place-you-look), You Black Kettle (https://youblackkettle.bandcamp.com/), Wound Clinic, Tality, and Radio Collective.
Currently I play drums and do some singing in a cover band called, 'Radio Collective'. We play songs from the 60's to now. (radiocollective.org)
I also play with a improvisational music group of friends called, 'Tality'.
And another similar iteration called, 'Wound Clinic'

I release solo projects under the name, 'Rice Chin Orb Tin' at

I spend a lot of my spare time writing & recording silly, experimental songs.
I'm continually learning about music every day. And am committed to a lifelong journey with it.
I recently joined Bandmix because I'm hoping to expand my network and community of musicians & creators. I'm interested in session work, songs workshop, wood sheds, jams, etc.
Regarding the 'studio musician' question. I have recorded studios. And I have a home studio. I record a lot, but I am not a professional.
I am also not actively searching to join a band, but I'm open to ideas and opportunities.
