Retired from real work and ready to rock! I do some solo gigs but recently have joyfully reunited with drummer Ken Whitney. Ken has graciously agreed to play an electronic kit. Our sound is epic!!
We play a wide variety of music. We do play dance halls, but also places where we get to play great off-speed songs that people love and sing along to. Like songs from the great singer song writers.
We would be interested collaborating with an easy-going conservative guitar player who enjoys playing songs. We're not interested in turning every song into a guitar centric song. But a few would be awesome! A guitarist with a guitar synth would work best.
Unfortunately, my ears ring too much to handle the sound pressure of acoustic drums and guitar stage amps. Got to protect the hearing. I've found TC Helicon FX150 stage monitors to be plenty loud enough on stage for guitars and drums. Alot lighter and much quicker to setup too! We use the Soundcraft digital mixer, which has great sound and greatly minimizes sound checks.
