I am a long-time banjo and guitar player / musician who moved to Florida in 2022. A few months later I sustained a shoulder / arm injury that has prevented me from being able to play the banjo. I am now focusing on Dobro (newly acquired) and pedal steel. Still learning but eager (and ready) to play w/ others in order to make more progress. Played in family band as youth, played in university-sponsored gospel band in college, played in numerous small time bluegrass/country/gospel bands since. Before injury and the move to Florida was very active in jams, open mics, and performing w/ a bluegrass band (banjo) and a country band (banjo and pedal steel). I'm a solid musician looking for an opportunity to get better on the dobro and/or pedal steel by playing w/ others who like to have fun playing music.
