RMMG began in 2005 as the Rocky Mountain Music Company with the very modest goal of booking shows for our band. We only booked one of those. Drawing on the owners experience as a DJ for 7 years we did go on and produce two other shows at the Blue Bird Theater in Denver, CO. We helped launch the careers of two local area bands with those shows. We made contacts in Europe, and America with some unique ideas for distributing music. We could drop a bunch of names, but the bands, musicians and labels we talked to are big enough without our help, and we aren't trying to ride on their coat strings by claiming to know them. In 2006 there was a downtime period as some life adjustments were made.

In April of 2008 the company was restarted this time to market, publish and produce music that we have written. But just like the last time, it's already expanded. So we are acting as a label, and publisher. We are capable of a worldwide digital distribution of a single song or full CD release. We can handle small run CD Duplication and production of up to 50 CD's. We have sound recording capabilities, as well as mixing and sampling. We are building a list of online radio stations, contacts with other labels for non-exclusive deals to provide broader exposure for our artists. We have contacts with local promotion companies and venue owners. We have our own online store to sell DRM free downloads of our artists songs, full albums and graphics, or to order physical CD sales, where we can distribute a much higher percentage back to the artist than other avenues of sale.

We are able to assign ISRC codes, obtain digital UPC Codes, submit sales tracking information to Nielson. We are also getting signed up to the royalty distribution companies and will update section as those are approved and come online.
