Grew up in the Miami, FL area. Played in bars before I was allowed to be in bars. Worked with two sucessful and well known bands in the Miami area. Have spent considerable time in the studio but wasn't prepared to check the "Studio Musician box" Relocated to the Midwest in 1982. Played in a touring band based in Topeka, KS covering the central midwest. Played in a house band in a large road house (15,000 sq ft.) for 4 years. Worked as a sound tech for local bands for 2 years until I entered the corporate world. I don't think my bass has been in it's case for more than a few hours in the last 30 years. Only when traveling or taking it to my tech. Also play guitar, mainly acoustic and I wouldn't say professionaly but the background is helpful in songwriting and working up bass parts. Recently took an early retirement and am determined to play on stage, in front of people again. Working with a good, solid drummer is a priority. I strive to play only what's necessary and hopefully, the right stuff for the song.

EQUIPMENT
Whatever is needed. Small club to large venue. Two Fender Precision basses. #1 1974 American. Bought new in 1975. #2 1997 MIM. Bought last year as a back-up. Gibson and Taylor acoustic guitars.
