I am new to the Bloomington area and would love to a group of cats and hats to jam with. I have kept my previous profile below just to give you an idea of what I am looking for. It is for fun that I play, I have no illusions of my skillset or availability.
We are Bob’s Big Idea Band, I am behind the drum kit, Carlos is on the keyboards and Mike plays guitar and a mean Harp and Cody has joined us on bass. Currently we get together most every Friday night from around 6 to as late as we can stand (usually around 2). Our sound is starting to gel as we expand our play list and a few original pieces. We are getting more serious each time we get together. We are looking for a few others to come join us, especially a lead vocalist (no offense guys but we are in love with the idea of a female voice up front to build around), another guitarist, and would love any part of a horn section. Our main focus is to have fun and push ourselves to be better musicians in a drama free, safe environment. This has become our “happy place” and we want to invite others to join us.
