ABOUT

We are 4 talented and experienced musicians seeking an equally talented vocalist to complete our band. We are confident in our abilities, but there are no egos in this band. We are serious about writing great music, but don't take ourselves too seriously. There are no drugs and no alcoholics in this band. We have some band names in mind, but may wait until our band is complete before finalizing a name.

We were in the process of finishing a full length album, when our singer decided to pursue other interests. Most of the demo is finished, albeit unmixed and unmastered, but we will send copies of our songs to any interested vocalists who wish to put lyrics and vocal melodies to our music.

The songs we have so far are different enough from each other that it's hard to pinpoint what our "sound" is. Nothing is truly ground-breaking anymore, but we would like to think it sounds like us. "Melodic hard rock" is a vague description, but that's about as accurate as it gets to this point. Our sound is not what you would call "commercial". We're not afraid to get adventurous, but for the most part, our music is still easily accessible to the average listener.

On what we are specifically looking for in a vocalist, we prefer a singer rather than a screamer. Versatility is a good thing though, i.e. the ability to sing soft as well as with grit and power. While a good voice is important, equally important is the capacity for creating smart melodies. The ability to contribute to the songwriting process and write interesting lyrics are both huge plusses.

We have an "older" recording of one of our current tunes available for listening on our page (://./kitfisto865). Our previous singer is heard on the recording.
