I played in rock groups back in the late 60's and early 70's. Now that I have time and ambition, I would like to join any committed group to play blues,or classic rock. I play bass guitars. I also sing backup vocals.Looking for a group to join with a fantastic lead singer and lead/rhythm guitarist , drummer, and maybe keyboard person.Favor Cream, Who, Grand Funk, Foreigner, Doors, Nirvana and similar classic rock.Open to blues rock..I prefer to join an established group but will begin from scratch with a hard working , assembled new band.I would prefer a group that enjoys and has fun at practicing & playing gigs. You can contact me at : rockinrory_2007@rock.com

Influences:

I have been influenced by most of the groups/music from the late 60's and the 70's rock scene.I am open to play anything our lead singer and the group can do well.I prefer to be part of a 3 or 4 man rock group.

Equipment List:

I have a RED STAR Prototype 4 X 12 Bass cab that can handle 750 watts rms.. It is powered by a Behringer ULTRABASS BX 4500H with 450 watts rms output.I also have a 1974 SUNN 312S Cab that I have installed 3 -12 inch Dayton woofers into.I power it with an AMPEG SVT -3 head that also kicks 450 watts rms out.I can use either bottom as a slave with the other.I have the extra amp ,if I need it.My present gear , Feb. 2008, consists of 8 basses and a Zoom 506 Bass effects box. My basses are a white with black crackle finish 1980's Series 10 bass (mint), a 1974 Conrad violin bass (mint), a new Grote blonde violin bass, an Aria Pro Avanti bass, a Fender Retro Jazz bass, a Conrad mid 1970's Tele bass copy, and a Dean Explorer bass plus a few other goodies...I can use a Zoom 506 modeler effects box on bass. I have a mic.I can haul my equipment in my mini van. Please, no country western groups..that music puts me to sleep. LOL
