I am a 42 year old guitarist/vocalist/songwriter with about 20 years of performing experience. I have all pro equipment including P.A and recording equipment, but at the moment no rehearsal space. I'm interested in doing select covers and original material, would like to avoid doing the obvious covers that too many other bands are already doing. I would like to do material in the likes of Counting Crows, Avett Brothers, Mumford, SonVolt, Ryan Adams, David Gray, Replacements, Lucero etc. I'm not too particular about age, there are great musicians out there from every age group, but I am hoping to find mature, like minded musicians who's emphasis isn't on partying. I would very much like to hear from anyone interested in such a project who would be interested in practicing weekly and playing out monthly, I do have contacts for bookings. For 10 years I drove an hour one way to rehearsal, not looking to have to do that again but I understand that being that far away from the larger towns in the area limits my possibilities. Please drop me a line if you are a Drummer, Bassist, keyboardist, or rythym/lead guitarst (backing vocals a plus, I'm also willing to share lead vocals on some songs). If you have access to rehearsal space within 20 miles of Siler City that would be a definite help.
