Rodney James is currently an acoustic duo consisting of rhythm guitar and lead vocals. We are currently looking for a larger sound, with primary interest in lead guitar, keys, and backup vocals.

We pool from the 70s to 90s to modern music, and are always looking for added influences.

Members Of Band

The two primary members are myself (Ethan) and Zach on guitar. Zach is also a principal for an artists music group called SEED.

SEED works with artists on branding, marketing, and talent development, equipping them for careers as performing artists. The founder of SEED has over 30 years of industry experience and expertise, recording and touring with top acts like Billy Joel and Elton John, and has credits on several chart-topping hits throughout the 80s.

EQUIPMENT

We have a pair of dynamic stage mics, cables, a Fender amp, and are in process of purchasing a PA system. Also have a Taylor acoustic.

We perform regularly 1-2 a month, but are looking for greater frequency as we add on band members. We'd like to perform regular shows throughout the midwest market. Our goal is to form a chemistry with a core group within the next 12-18months, then look to record an album or EP.
