I'm either seeking to form or join a a band that plays a variety of rock styles. Example: a pop-rock song, followed by a modern rock thing, then an almost metal song, etc.
Eddie Van Halen for songwriting, feel, and willingness to just "go for it," whatever the consequences may be. Steve Vai and Frank Zappa for technique and innovation. Johnny Ramone for taking all of that, telling it to go fu*k itself, and making dozens of memorable classics from 5 barre chords.
Guitars: Strat copies (HSH, vintage tremolo), Jackson RR3, 80's Ibanez (HSS, Edge tremolo)
Amp: Carvin X-100 combo used as a clean/mild overdrive head, and I'm looking to build/buy a new one for everything else.
Pedals: None at the moment. In the future, an Echoplex (for doubling/slight reverb effect) and an all-in-one unit for everything else.
