Band to Join, Other.

ABOUT

I'm a veteran bassist. I've played hundreds of gigs. I'm a pocket player. I know some fancy chops, but I rarely play them. I concentrate on establishing and maintaining the groove. My experience is that if a rhythm section can hold down the groove, it always brings out the best in the rest of the band. As to my age, I was 14 years old the first time The Beatles played Ed Sullivan.

Influences

In the 1970s, I was mentored by local bassist Boxey Fulcher. I probably sound most like him. A famous guy I try to sound like is probably Jerry Scheff who played for Elvis and on The Doors' L.A. Woman album.
