My journey with music began when I was five years old, singing gospel songs for church. my mom put me in the youth choir to get me more involved and stop falling asleep in church. It work because through the choir I realized my love for music. I eventually progressed to the adult choir where I started getting solo parts in a variety of ranges, alto mainly, but a few tenor and soprano(falsetto) solo parts as well
I am more of a singer/ writer/ recording artist.
I have very little classical training which is why I wouldn’t call myself a vocalist.
I had a vocal coach for 4 years during high school for our musical theater performances.
I’ve done a handful of gigs and showcases, my most recent was at Columbia College featured with another artist for the sounds of Summer festival.
