Used to be a cover band, but now we are getting back together to work on a new indie/60s&70s garage bands/proto-punk (although, I don't like the term punk because it is very misused) sounding project, in which we'll write all of our own original tunes. We are very sick & tired of playing covers. It was fun at the time, but believe me, we are very over it. The guitar player from our original band is currently involved within another band, thus the reason we are in search for a new lead guitarist. You don't need skill, just drive and a willingness to have fun & get weird. If this sounds like something that may interest in, feel free to reach out to me. I'll include the songs that we covered in our last band, to give you an idea of the music we are influenced by. When we played as a cover band, we were heavily influence by the this English group called "The Libertines" & "The Babyshambles" and older Boston groups such as "Jonathan Richman and the modern lovers" & "Pixies." However, looking to the future, myself (Ryan, Vocalist) Drew (Drums) & Paul (Bass) hope to write all new original songs (which I've already written lyrcially, have about 20 full songs) and eventually record a fun Lo-Fi style LP similar in style to Mac DeMarco (a modern recording artist).
