I started taking voice lessons some years ago in NY.
Covid and being asked to sing at a wedding made me much more committed to my practice.
Eventually I got to the point of wanting to sing with other vocalists and now with musicians and/or a band. I do not have extensive experience, but I do have a good practice and am hungry to work with other musicians.

Influences
I grew up in the 80s/90s and was heavily influenced by alternative rock and with R&B. I also have an affinity for Jazz standards and that is probably my most comfortable genre w/ voice.

EQUIPMENT
I own a uke and a mike...but the mike is for recording podcasts etc, it is not amped. So...I am truly 'just' a vocalist...but willing and able and ready to learn much more.
