ABOUT

I am singer/songwriter new to NYC and I am looking for great musicians to play with for shows here in town, and possibly recording and touring. At the moment, I am looking for Bass, Drums and possibly 2nd guitar/keyboard. The music lives in the Pop world, with flowing melodies and catchy hooks, but there is a strong soul, jazz and classic rock foundation and also a lot of groove. My influences are very wide ranging, but below are listed some of the main ones. Also there is a really strong spiritual element to my music. Meditation is a huge part of my life and these themes really come across in the lyrics. My mission in music is to get you out of your head and into your heart. I want it to be a vehicle for positive connection and inspire a lot of people in a deep way. And obviously have a lot of fun doing it.

What I’m looking for in bandmates is high level of musicianship, desire to collaborate and write your own parts that serve the song, and of course good vibe. As we all know. the music world is arduous and full of difficulty, so I want us to all really enjoy the process and hanging out together first and foremost. I’m confident the rest will come. The next thing on the books for me is a single release show Rockwood Stage 3, Feb 25. I am shooting to have a band ready for this show and hopefully beyond. This will be a paid gig.
