My name is Samuel, I have been playing the acoustic guitar for about five years now. I wouldn't say I am an expert or anything but I can play alright.
I can't do finger picking or any of that just strumming mostly (I suppose that might be rhythm, wouldn't it. I don't know). I also taught myself to play the piano, as for skill level all I can say is, I think I am getting better everyday.
I play mostly at church as a soloist. We don't have a praise team at this time, however, I would be interested in starting one.

I listen mostly to contemporary christian music such as KLove radio, Walk FM radio, The Message on Sirius XM. My favorite groups are Casting Crowns, Hillsong United, Young & Free; as well as Jeremy Camp, Third Day and most songs from Betthel Music.

EQUIPMENT

As for equipment obviously I have an acoustic guitar (however it is not an electric acoustic so I would need a pickup. Which I am Probably going to be getting sometime soon. As well as some other gear for guitar) and piano, which is a Yamaha DGX 230 electric piano, just in case you were wondering. I also have a full sound system, minus floor monitors or any way to monitor a live performance. It includes a Behringer Xenyx QX1204USB, two 15" speakers and an amp to go with is as well as all the cables. I would need more ics depending on how many vocalists there were. I only have one decent mic right now.
